Following a stellar year that included winning the coveted EISA Award for Best Smart Amplifier, the NAD M10 has picked up yet another accolade for Hi-Fi Product of the Year from AVForums. Reviewed and selected by AVForums' revered team of audio experts, the publication says the M10 'feels effortlessly special and it is a delight to use.'
The M10 is neither part of NAD's main range of devices nor is it exactly part of the Masters aesthetic either (although the packaging refers to it as a Masters device). Developed in cooperation with an external design agency called DF-ID, the M10 is a truly exceptional piece of industrial design. The front is dominated by a full width display. I appreciate that the M10's lack of wired headphone support is a non-issue for many M10 owners - though I also believe there is a not insignificant segment of potential buyers out there who will now avoid the M10 because of this, to my mind, astonishing miscalculation on NAD's part.
Highlighting the BluOS streaming amplifier for its inclusion of Dirac, build quality and its various connectivity options, AVForums says the all-in-one represents the future of hi-fi.

EnglishNad M10 Spec
Haven't got one, but have heard one. Pricing it up against the Atom is pretty aggressive. It looks good, the BluOs app is very good & you can use Dirac Live with it, if you're so inclined. However, it didn't seem as loud as the Atom, I had it dialled up to 70% or so be. I recently purchased my NAD M10, Cambridge CXC CD Transport and had to wait a week or so for purchasing speakers. Until they arrived, I was happily listening to the my AKG headphones through a headphone amplifier connected via the pre-out on the back of the M10. The NAD M10 is superb. I can't imagine anyone buying one of these being disappointed. It has some great features and a very detailed competent sound, but it just isn't quite as good as the TDAI-1120.
