Like Diablo 2 with the Zyel mod (a collation of other mods + an awesome crafting mod), we've been waiting for a definitive collation of good mods for Torchlight 2 and here it is in 'Torchlight Essentials.' The issue with mods is 1) which to get, 2) making your friends get the same ones, 3) getting games where everyone has the same mod. Collections of mods in one package,in my opinion, are essential to reduce the insanity. We tried it out Friday night and it was superlative.

The mod has a new class that mixes the mage and a close in fighter, the official 8 player muiltiplayer mod, the two mods (Blanks and Extra Chunky) from the Runic developers and a host of other vetted mods. Highly Recommended.

Playing them in synergies is slightly more difficult, but still viable. The Preacher can work perfectly as an assist in multiplayer games. Yet familiar (like the healing wisp). It's really comfortable to play this class, I started and find easy to see how to build it in. Torchlight II has gathered quite the following since it published to PC thanks to its lively online multiplayer following. The constant competition and quests have cemented its place in the hearts of many. However, to the few offline warriors, the ability to play offline and still keep the game interesting day in day out is unmatched.

An undercover operative trains with an extremist group in Yemen. Preacher and his squad, one week before, fire upon militants in Somalia, helping a helicopter destroy a building. 8 weeks before (7 weeks before Somalia), Preacher and Mother, the squad leader, attempt to alleviate a hostage situation in the Philippines. Torchlight II takes you once more into the quirky, fast-paced world of bloodthirsty monsters, bountiful treasures, and sinister secrets - and, once again, the fate of the world is in your hands! Torchlight has these archetypes with the male Destroyer and Alchemist with the female Vanquisher as a nod to its Spiritual Predecessor (although the class roles are technically flexible). Torchlight II allows you to select your character's gender but official media often sticks to having male Berserkers and Engineers with female Outlanders.
